A Room for a Person

I should try to find a hotel at 1-2 zone of London Underground to have traveler’s tour, buy the weekly ticket for the 1-2 zone in the oyster card (a big saving compared to paying for each trip or travel per day) and travel the long-distance by subway or bus , and walk short distances. You do not have to leave over the range of 1-2 zones. As for the rooms — there are a lot of them at the tiny cheap hotels in the area of Paddington station. There is a metro station close to the most interesting places to have traveler’s tour. The price may be rather low - from 15 to 40 pounds. In London there are several travel agencies working in this way: double-decker buses (open top) with radio guide who tells an interesting story about sightseeing. You should buy a ticket per day, you can get around at any stop, walk and change buses depending on your route. At some stops you can change a bus ring of the same company. Three such rings cover the entire center of London. The ticket costs less than 2 pounds,

it is valid full- daytime (the ticket purchased, for example, at 12 o'clock is valid till 18 of that day and the next one from 9 to 12 o'clock). You can also use it not only for traveler’s tour, but also for any trip on that day. For example: we arrive in a brown bus (do not remember the company’s names, routes are slightly different), then change buses and continue our voyage. We passed Paddington station (the station was 2 blocks from the hotel), went off at Hyde Park, saw “Speaker’s Corner”, walked a little around the park (it is marvelous!). Then we took a "red" bus and went to the National Gallery, and we had also the time for taking a view of its expositions just before closing. Then we got on the bus and went a part of the ring half a way to our hotel. The rest of the distance was the traveler’s tour for seeing Oxford and Baker Street. Next morning we took the third ring with the same ticket, went it almost completely and admired the expositions of the British Museum. So we went around the entire center of London on the roof of buses with a wonderful panorama, having the only ticket. We saved a lot of pounds.
